About us
A father and son building healthcare the way it should be.
LiveRounded started with a simple frustration: good medication shouldn't cost more just because your dose goes up.

John McIntosh, NP
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner · Licensed in FL, CO, AZ, WA
With years of clinical experience across primary care and acute settings, John Sr. saw firsthand how patients were being priced out of effective GLP-1 treatments. Dose-based pricing meant that as patients improved and needed higher doses, their costs skyrocketed — punishing progress.
He founded LiveRounded's clinical practice to fix this. Every prescription he writes carries his name and license number. Every treatment decision is his. No corporate medical directors, no rubber stamps.

John McIntosh Jr.
Co-founder · Technology
John Jr. builds the technology that makes LiveRounded possible — the patient app, the AI care team, the clinical infrastructure. His goal: make high-quality clinical care accessible without making patients navigate byzantine healthcare technology.
The AI care team (BMI tracker, symptom checker, nutrition guide, and lab reviewer) was built to extend the reach of a single NP without replacing clinical judgment. Every AI flag routes to his father for review. Technology amplifies care; it doesn't substitute for it.
Our mission
Make effective medication affordable. Keep clinical care real.
The telehealth weight-loss space has a problem. Patients are being charged more as their treatment works. Need a higher dose? That's an extra $100-$300 per month. Want lab work? That's an add-on. Want to message your provider? That's a premium tier.
We built LiveRounded as the opposite. One price covers everything: medication, labs, NP care, and AI support. The price doesn't change when your dose increases because progress shouldn't be penalized.
We prescribe compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide — the same active ingredients in Wegovy and Zepbound — sourced exclusively from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities audited by our in-house pharmacist. We put a real clinician's name on every prescription because accountability matters. And we built an AI care team that extends our NP's reach without replacing his judgment.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA has not reviewed these drugs for safety or effectiveness. We source exclusively from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities.
“Progress shouldn't be penalized.”
— The founding principle behind LiveRounded
Our sourcing standard
How we choose who makes our medication
Not all compounded medications are equal. The companies getting FDA warning letters in 2026 were sourcing from unverified facilities, making equivalence claims they couldn't substantiate, and rubber-stamping prescriptions without real clinical review.
Our pharmacist audits every compounding facility we use — reviewing FDA registration status, cGMP compliance, sterility testing protocols, potency verification, and beyond-use dating. We source exclusively from 503B outsourcing facilities, which are held to higher manufacturing standards than traditional compounding pharmacies.
Before any prescription is written, our NP reviews each patient's complete health history and documents clinical necessity for the specific compounded formulation. This is what the FDA actually wants to see — and it's what protects patients.
